Whether two people stay in a relationship for a month or a decade, whether they live in the same city or in different countries, they somehow always come back to each other if they truly love each other. It seems that this dreamy situation fits Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck perfectly.

Recently, the singer-cum-actress was spotted grabbing lunch with her daughter and Affleck, who was accompanied by his son (a cute soon-to-be-family outing if we may call it). Needless to say, the couple looked ultra-comfy and content in each other’s company.

A few hours after their sweet sleepover, Lopez and Affleck took their children to Brentwood Country Mart for lunch. The Let's Get Loud singer brought her 13-year-old daughter Emme, while the Daredevil actor came along with his 9-year-old son Sam.
While Lopez wore a white jumpsuit complemented with a pair of neon sneakers and a yellow Louis Vuitton bag, Affleck kept it simple in blue jeans and a grey T-shirt. While the lunch was obviously all about the food, what caught the eye of the paps was what happened afterward.

After eating up, the ex-couple was photographed gazing into each other's eyes and lovingly smiling at each other inside Affleck's black Escalade. Did they send the children home to enjoy a little after-lunch dessert?
Coming back to the lunch date, this wasn't the first time the lovebirds have been spotting getting romantic again. When Affleck was ordering lunch at the restaurant window, J. Lo wrapped her arms around his back. Before that, the duo was seen spending the weekend together in The Hamptons. They even got cozy during their weeklong vacation in Montana in May 2021.

J. Lo and Ben Affleck's romance originally started nearly two decades ago when they met on the sets of Gigli. At the time, the singer was married to dancer Cris Judd (her second husband). But as they say, you fall in love with the most unexpected person at the most unexpected time.
Before she could do anything about it, sparks flew between the two stars, and they fell hard for each other. J. Lo waited until she divorced Judd, and then made her relationship with Affleck public.

In November 2002, Affleck got down on one knee and proposed to the singer with a 6.1-carat pink diamond, and she just couldn't say "No." However, after that the relationship started going downhill.
In September 2003, when the couple was supposed to tie the knot, they postponed their wedding citing too much media attention. Later, in January 2004, they ended their engagement and she moved on with Marc Anthony and he with Jennifer Garner.
Well as fans, we can only hope that this time that they've come together, their relationship will reach new heights. Maybe both of them will finally find the partner they’ve been looking for all these years.
